‘Creative’ is a diverse term to allow the inclusion of a wide range of activities including music, drama, computing, sport, art, film-making, dance and gaming.

I run a creative business- how do I get involved need to do?

Play Create is open to any creative business or sole trader registered with HMRC who has or is willing to acquire a child-workforce DBS check.

You will ideally already be experienced at delivering creative services to young people (e.g. after-school or weekend clubs) although this isn’t essential.

You will need to commit to providing at least two of the following services to be promoted on the Play Create website:

  1. Free online resources (PDFs, videos etc.) for schools to use to deliver self-managed creative lessons and clubs
  2. Provide volunteering and/or volunteer support to deliver free clubs in school
  3. Commercial CPD/INSET to school teaching staff
  4. Commercial delivery of lunchtime, pre-school or after-school clubs
