Play Create is currently (Aug-2018) a pre-start idea to link up volunteers and creative businesses with schools to deliver creative subjects within and in addition to the curriculum.

‘Creative’ is a diverse term to allow the inclusion of a wide range of activities including music, drama, computing, sport, art, film-making, dance and gaming.
I run a creative business- how do I get involved need to do?
Play Create is open to any creative business or sole trader registered with HMRC who has or is willing to acquire a child-workforce DBS check.
You will ideally already be experienced at delivering creative services to young people (e.g. after-school or weekend clubs) although this isn’t essential.
You will need to commit to providing at least two of the following services to be promoted on the Play Create website:
- Free online resources (PDFs, videos etc.) for schools to use to deliver self-managed creative lessons and clubs
- Provide volunteering and/or volunteer support to deliver free clubs in school
- Commercial CPD/INSET to school teaching staff
- Commercial delivery of lunchtime, pre-school or after-school clubs

- Application of skills through the curriculum to increase range and depth of subject delivery

- Develop a wide range of important creative and life skills whilst having fun
- Build confidence, self awareness and maturity
- Start to see connections between creative subjects and
Parents will benefit by:
- Additional learning opportunities for your children
- Potential for delivery in sessions before- and/or after-school
- Develop a deeper awareness of your children’s creative talents and interests
